You are welcome at Fenham Hall Medical Group.
We offer high-quality, patient-focused care to everyone regardless of race, religion, nationality, age, ability, sexual orientation or gender identity.
We believe patients and staff in the NHS should treat each other with dignity and respect.
The GP partners at Fenham Hall Medical Group would like to remind patients that we operate a zero-tolerance policy on both physical and verbal abuse.
eCONSULT
Our econsult online system is quick, convenient, easy to use, and it gets you the help you need when you need it.
Patients can submit an online request between 7.30am – 3pm; please note if we reach capacity we may need to close the online requests earlier.
If you have a clinically urgent problem today outside of our triage times please ring reception who will take some details and pass to the triage GP. After submitting your request, a GP will review it based on clinical urgency. Non-urgent requests will receive a response within 48 hours. If your request is considered urgent, you may receive a phone call, so please ensure you are available. Please note, we can only process requests for patients currently in the UK or locally if an appointment is required.
Urgent requests from our most vulnerable patients such as frail, unwell, elderly, or palliative care patients will still be accepted on the same day via telephone, even when the online system is closed.
Our busiest days are Mondays and Tuesdays, so it is best to submit any non-urgent forms later in the week.
Please do not submit photos of private parts of your body.
If your child is 12 years of age or younger and needs urgent attention, please complete an econsult (or call the surgery if you are unable to do this). One of our GPs will look at this on the same day you submit the request and decide what care is needed.
Children under 12 years old will be seen urgently if needed, as a result reducing 111 calls and attendances at the Urgent Treatment Centres and A&E.

Emergency Dental Care
In order to try and manage people needing access to emergency dental care, the ICB are setting up Urgent Dental Access Centres (UDACs). These are existing practices who are converting part of their contract for routine care into emergency care for anyone, regardless of whether they are known to the practice.
If you have dental pain, you can book an appointment directly via the website up to 5 days in advance.
